CCFC is proud to name the ALS Association as our very first charity drive organization. In honor of our beloved community member Dogbomb who passed this year, we are committed to raise money to help the ALSA combat this disease and strengthen the lives of others who are affected. Also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, this degenerative condition affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord which steadily deteriorates muscle function. In addition to aggressively researching a cure, they work to empower and improve the well-being of both those impaired by this illness and their loved ones.
As the only non-profit national organization specifically founded to fight this disease, The ALS Association strives to promote advocacy, awareness, and community involvement through selfless giving and goodwill. We believe our community’s ideals of inclusivity and togetherness makes us a powerful ally for this endeavor, and we share their mission of providing support to others in need. Together, we can join the fight against ALS and empower the lives of all those affected.
